自宅サーバ更改その2 (Epson NP11-VにCentOSをインストール)

Epson NP11-V 到着。
ディスプレイケーブルついてないのが少し残念。
とりあえずWindowsXP立ち上げてみて、CIFS経由(100M)で動画とか見てみたが特に問題なさそうなパフォーマンス。

ここから本題。
OSはCentOSにした。
現行の自宅サーバgentoo linux なのだが、多少特異なハードかもしれないので、手間隙考えて楽そうだというのが大きな理由。
gentooは楽しいが、やはり手間かかる。

USBの外付けDVDドライブ付けて起動。
BIOSで Boot Device Priority 変えてインストール開始。
DELキー押してBIOSに遷移するのだが、キーボード認識するまでちょっと時間かかってた模様。
焦らずにキーボードのLEDついてからDELを。

ややインストール動作が遅い気もしたが、XPの挙動から考えても、本体というよりDVDドライブのほうにボトルネックがありそうな感じだった。

インストール自体は全く問題なく終了。
